Nu Care, has partnered with PeopleKeep to offer you a health benefit called a QSEHRA. The Qualified Small Employer HRA health benefit allows an employer to reimburse their employees for their healthcare costs; this includes qualifying insurance premiums and other out-of-pocket medical expenses. Once you create your PeopleKeep account, you can start getting reimbursed tax-free for your qualified healthcare expenses. Major medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums are all reimbursable with PeopleKeep.
Here’s how it works:
- Step 1. You’ve incurred a qualified healthcare expense
- Step 2. You log in to PeopleKeep and submit proof of the expense- Click on “Get Reimbursed” button on your dashboard.
- Step 3. Click on the name of the expense you are looking for and then select “Get Reimbursed”
- Step 4. Once you’ve answered each question and attached the necessary documentation, click the “Request Reimbursement” button to submit your request.
PeopleKeep will review your request within 3 business days, once your request is approved a notification will be sent to your employer, the health reimbursement expense will be added to your paycheck up to your benefit allowance per month. If you don’t use your entire monthly benefit allowance, your unused allowance accrues throughout the year. For example, if you use $80 of your $100 allowance, that extra $20 rolls over to the following month, now giving you $120.00. Benefits accruals cap out at the end of the year, and start new at the beginning of each year.
To qualify for this benefit through PeopleKeep, you must be working (on average) at least 35 hours or more per month for at least 90 days, from the start of your employment. Once you met these qualifications, you will receive an invitation email. This invitation will prompt you on how to set up your new account and get started with your benefits.
